Located only miles from Walt Disney World, the Gaylord Palms Resort mimics a turn-of-the-century Florida mansion surrounding a 4.5 acre atrium. The 1,800 feet of balustrade Stromberg crafted to be used in the atrium consists of GFRP, custom aged and textured with a stone finish to match the hotel's antique atmosphere. The various planters, columns and urns used throughout the hotel were individually molded and aged using this same technique to establish a unified historic feel. These methods can be applied to new construction, or used to blend new construction with old for your remodeling project. At Stromberg, we can recreate any look to your specifications:
- Custom trim and detail work, in any finish and color.
- Recreate elements from existing pieces, or create unique items to accentuate your decor.
- Unique statuary and fountains for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Structural pieces that are both durable and beautiful.
The Gaylord Entertainment Company is one of many on a long list of satisfied Stromberg customers. They have required our services on multiple projects. Stromberg Architectural custom designed and manufactured columns and a dome for the renovations made to Gaylord Opryland in Nashville and we recently finished production on the new Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX.
