Isola Bella Condominiums
South Padre Island is the beachfront Mecca of Texas. The Isola Bella condominium complex is a 17-story luxury high rise right on the beach in the state's sandiest playground. Rentals for the individual units start at $350 per night. The facility was completed in 2004 and remains one of South Padre Island's finer accommodations.
The Isola Bella complex is bristling with elements from Stromberg Architectural Products. Begin with the peaked cupolas that crown the structure. These elements were made from Stromberg's Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC). GFRC combines the look, feel and durability of concrete at a huge reduction in weight. GFRC is fireproof and resists the weathering effects of seawater much better than true concrete.
Stromberg's Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) provided an excellent material for the actual lettering that announces the name of the development to passersby. GFRP provides extreme durability as well as being an extremely malleable material in production, ideal material for intricate patterns and designs.
In addition to the above elements, Stromberg also provided two fountains, a gazebo, a waterfall, planters, 43 columns, ball finials, tower balustrade, window surrounds, a walkway, guardhouse and porte-cochere.
Stromberg Architectural Products is the premiere fabricator of architectural elements for any scale of project anywhere on the globe. Give us a call today to let us help you with your next seaside paradise.
