Georgetown Council Chambers
Georgetown is a Texas town that is used to being on display. A regional destination for tourism and vacation, the entire city is a storefront for the leisure and recreation industry. Georgetown in the home of Southwestern University, the oldest chartered university in Texas, as well as such destination points as Inner Space Caverns and the Fountainwood Observatory.
Stromberg was called in to provide cornice and paneling for the Council Chambers when they were built in 2003. The Stromberg elements were composed of wet cast concrete and formed to exacting standards to fit the unusual turret feature of the building. Stromberg Architectural Products has over 30 years of experience in fabricating structural elements in a variety of materials for almost any type of new construction or renovation.
