Stromberg combined characteristics of two common architectural products - the fireplace and the l-shaped bracket - to create this extraordinary option. Brackets have traditionally been used to support exterior add-ons such as bay windows and balconies. Recognizing that these elements are utterly eye catching, our designers decided to model the sides of this work after these architectural features. Curves, intricate scrollwork, vertical lines, and horizontal bands all combine to create an unforgettable fireplace surround. These adorned posts support the generously sized top section, which is more substantial than the mantels found on many fireplaces and incorporates pieces of varying thicknesses to achieve a layered appearance.
