The Gazebo of Light was designed for use in a family wedding in Austin, Texas. The gazebo was designed in the typical Roman/Greek style. The dome is constructed of 742 pieces of wrought iron, which were pieced together to form the dome's sphere. The wrought iron crown was constructed in three pieces, each weighing about 400 pounds. This structure rests on columns made of Stromberg's Cast Stone. We opted for Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete to complete the gazebo's soffits and fascia. We chose this material for many reasons:

• Stromberg GFRC will not rot, disintegrate or swell when exposed to water, or even when completely submerged.
• Its light weight reduces installation and shipping costs due to the greater ease and speed of handling.
• Reduced load on buildings leads to a substantial reduction in structural and foundation costs, especially for renovation and restoration.
• With GFRC, we also have the ability to reproduce fine surface details.
• GFRC is requires minimal maintenance and is environmentally friendly.
