Pan Asian Bistro
The Pan Asian Bistro in Englewood, Colorado is an Asian seafood lover's paradise. With a seafood signature platter piled high with tuna, salmon, calamari, scallops and shrimp at only $24, the restaurant is more than reasonable for the quality of the food served.
The same can be said for Stromberg Architectural Products who supplied the custom tusked sculpture that frames the entrance to the building. Stromberg is an industry leader in the production of architectural elements and sculpture for a wide range of projects that span the globe.
For this project, Stromberg used Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) to fabricate the elements. GFRP is an extremely malleable material that lends itself well to any unusual shape or sculpted surface. GFRP is also an extremely good choice when it comes to building outdoor features, as the material is particularly suited to resisting the long-term effects of weathering. It has a very high strength-to-weight ratio as well as being very light in weight and research shows that GFRP will experience no laminate property loss even after 30 years in the elements.
