Architectural Fireplaces for Government Applications
Many of the world's most well-known government buildings are not only a source of pride for citizens, but also stunning works of architecture. In America, some of the government buildings found throughout the nation are also important pieces of history. The White House is a perfect example. It has served as a home for the country's presidents for over 200 years. Among the many architectural features that can be found in the White House are fireplace mantels. In fact, there are 28 fireplaces in this grand building! The Library of Congress also has several ornate mantelpieces, one of which features a 7 by 3-foot mosaic panel.
Stromberg is able to restore and repair stone mantels and those made from other materials, and we would be honored to help the American government maintain the beauty of the mantels found in many of their most prominent buildings. By restoring fireplace surrounds to their original condition, we're helping to preserve not only the beauty of government buildings, but also their sense of history. We can also work with government clients to help them choose one of our stock designs or develop a one of a kind custom fireplace mantel for a library, state building, or other government institution currently under construction.
