It's hard to say what is most remarkable about this noteworthy Stromberg fireplace. The pieces that surround the opening are fluted to give them the look of classical columns, while the ample fire area will showcase any flames that are burning within. The top component of the fireplace surround boasts an octagon with a few curved sides to take the edge off the embellishment. These features would be enough on their own to create a breathtaking work, but there are also two column-inspired pieces flanking the entire surround. Fluted and topped with stylized acanthus leaves, these components are flawless reproductions of the Roman Corinthian columns found on modern Roman-themed hotels and classical structures.
