The first thing many people will notice when they look at this piece is the large sphere that sits atop the body of the bollard. This gives the bollard a top-heavy appearance not commonly seen in these functional elements. The sizeable finial-style cap, however, is not the only remarkable aspect. The horizontal bands, the elongated cylinder-shaped base, and the uniform vertical depressions all add to the overall impact of the design. Compared to bulkier and wider bollards, this one has a relatively diminutive appearance. This makes it a good choice when you want bollards that will provide a sense of security without being overpowering.
