For the renovation of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio, we cast a custom Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) steeple finished to emulate stone block.
Stromberg Architectural Products designed, molded and manufactured over 3,000 custom pieces for the project. Each unique piece was designed and finished to blend with the original structure, and Stromberg created a custom designed rose window, measuring 7 feet in diameter, which also appropriately fits the original design of the church.
Our expertly executed molding techniques result in precisely matched textures, and our attention to detail means we provide exact color matches. Our glass fiber reinforced materials have withstood tests both in the lab and in the field. In the unlikely event that damage should occur, products such as our Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer are easily repaired and patched, reducing construction costs.
